An additional feature of this high resolution security camera includes AUTO IRIS LENS CONTROL. The 3.5-8mm AUTO IRIS lens automatically adjusts the Iris when there is light in the scene to compensate and eliminate any "white out" that you may get with manual iris lenses. So basically, if there are any issues with the sun interfering with performance, auto iris is the way to go!

In addition, the vari-focal lens can be adjusted and set at the time of installation. Choose from a wide angle or "dial in" the lens to the perfect angle and zoom. Whether you are using the camera to monitor a wide area, a shopping aisle, or even a register, the adjustable lens on this security camera will allow you to do just that.

The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under back light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark.

A day and night, color camera delivers color images during the day. As light diminishes below a certain level, the camera can automatically switch to night mode to make use of near infrared (IR) light to deliver high-quality, black and white images. Near-infrared light, which spans from 700 nanometers (nm) up to about 1000 nm, is beyond what the human eye can see, but most camera sensors can detect it and make use of it.

During the day, a day and night camera uses an IR-cut filter. IR light is filtered out so that it does not distort the colors of images as the human eye sees them. When the camera is in night (black and white) mode, the IR-cut filter is removed, allowing the camera�s light sensitivity to reach down to 0.001 lux or lower.

Day and night cameras are useful in environments that restrict the use of artificial light. They include low-light video surveillance situations, covert surveillance and discreet applications.

If necessary, an Infrared Illuminator can also be used in conjunction with a day and night camera to further enhance the camera�s ability to produce high-quality video in low light or no light night time conditions.

DNR(Digial Noise Reduction, 2D + 3D) - The DNR technology eliminates noise thus generating a distinct and clear image. The function of DNR utilizes both an adaptive 2D filter reducing noise in the brightness of the image and an adaptive 3D filter reducing noise caused by movement.

The function of DAY/NIGHT has a signal which detects the illumination condition. DAY & NIGHT operation features an AUTO�switch between day & night mode automatically based upon the level of illumination of the scene.

Privacy Mask Function (Polygnal method, 4 points)- Privacy masking allows you to blank out specific areas of a scene, where the viewing or recording of image is prohibited or undesired. The technology of privacy masking function allows for the user defined setting of a four points polygonal mask, which is overlaid onto the video signal output.

OSD(On Screen Display)- This camera supports OSD function which is used with multi-language. The motion detection and trarcking functions can be adjusted in INTELLIGENCE menu on screen display.

-OFF Deactivates of the motion detection.


Move the status bar to SENSITIVITY by using Up and Down button and press the right button to adjust sensitivity of the motion detection from 1 to 7.
