This an advanced video converter that digitizes analog video signal, compresses them into MPEG4, sends them over an IP network to be viewed on a mobile device. Basically, this GV video server converts cctv camera (including PTZ) into an IP camera. The signal is compatible with GeoVision systems and can be stored and monitored by the GeoVision System and software.

The GV-Video Server is easy to maintain and simplifies live monitoring, configuration, and system control. The user-friendly interface allows web browser access and provides a smart and scalable monitoring over any distance via LAN or WAN. Remote surveillance is implemented via 3GPP, IE browser and GeoVision GV-Multiview. For the purpose of central monitoring, the GV-Video Server offers an extensible solution for multi-site surveillance and control to manage numerous cameras from subscribers.

The built-in alarm and event management software enables serveral notification modes to react to abnormal events. Tiny and compact, the GV-Video Server possesses MPEG4 ASP compression technique that will not compromise video quality. If GV-series pc-based surveillance system is in use, the GV-Video Server offers a hybrid solution to integrate surveillance system and video server, and to load analog and digital video into the same interface.
