This guide explains how to log in to your SureVision NVR for the first time, change the default password, create a stronger password, and reset a forgotten password using the built-in recovery process. When the NVR starts for the first time, choose your language, region, and video standard, then log in with the default account: After your first login, the system will prompt you to change the default password immediately. Your new SureVision password should be long and secure. A strong password helps protect both your recorder and your connected cameras. Enter an email address when prompted. That email is used later if you ever need to retrieve or reset the password. You can also set an unlock pattern after login. If enabled, the unlock pattern can replace your password at login. On the login screen, click Forgot Password. If you use an unlock pattern, click Enter Password first, then choose Forgot Password. The NVR will display a QR-code recovery screen. Leave that screen open. On your phone, open the SureVision app and go to Me / Login > General > Forgot Device Password. Use the app scanner to scan the QR code shown on the NVR screen. A security code will be sent to the email address used during setup. Enter that code on the NVR, create your new password, confirm it, and log in again with the updated password.SureVision Login & Password Reset Guide
