The following steps will show you how to setup our SureVision wireless doorbell camera, and how to pair a SureVision wireless chime to that doorbell using the SV Max app on your phone or mobile device. If you do not already have the SV Max app setup, you can find the setup guide for that here.

1. Adding the Doorbell to SV Max
The network configuration automatically starts upon the first setup of the doorbell. After powering the doorbell and waiting about 1 minute, you will hear "Please connect the device to the network with the app." The light around the doorbell button should also blink green when ready. If the doorbell does not start blinking green after 2 minutes, try holding down the reset button on the back of the doorbell for at least 30 seconds to reset and try again.
On the SV Max home page, you can tap the plus (+) sign at the top right to add your device. If it asks to access the camera, allow it. The app will then show your camera, which you can use to scan the QR code located on the back of the doorbell camera.
After scanning the QR code, tap OK and Start. You will then see a page like below. If your doorbell is currently flashing green, tap on the circle next to The indicator flashes, and tap Ready to Connect.
The phone will then attempt to connect to the doorbell camera. Once finished, it will have you select the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect the doorbell to, and ask you to enter the password for the network. Tap Connect when complete.
Once the doorbell connects to your Wi-Fi network, you can name it whatever you'd like.
The app will ask if you want to allow Signup-Free Authorization. This feature allows other users to scan the same QR code to add the doorbell to their mobile devices. If you disable this feature, you will need to share to these other users from your mobile device instead.
This next page will allow you to set up Daylight Savings Time on your doorbell. If the Start Time and End Time are not consistent with the picture below, please change them to be the same. Not having the values below may lead to incorrect timestamps on your doorbell. You can change this again in the future if needed. Tap OK when finished.
You should now see your doorbell camera on your app-both the top camera and bottom camera. Tap on the images of the camera to see the video in real time.
2. Pairing a Wireless Chime
To pair a chime to your doorbell, plug it into an outlet and go on the SV Max app. Tap the three dots at the right of your doorbell, and tap Set.
Scroll all the way down on the settings page and select Chime Settings.
Tap Add Chime and on the next page, select Wireless Chime as your chime type. Tap Next.
While on this page, press and hold the SYNC button on your wireless chime for about five seconds. The chime should beep, and the light on the front should start flashing green. Once it flashes, Tap the circle next to The indicator flashes green, and tap Next.
The app will now search for any nearby chimes. When finished, you will see a page like below, showing the chime with its serial number. Select a chime by tapping the circle to the left of it, then tap Add. If done correctly, under the chime should say Added successfully, and you can tap the X at the top right to exit the setup. Your chime should now be working, and make noise when the doorbell is rung.
3. Enabling Alarm Notifications
To enable notifications for motion detection and package detection, tap the three dots at the right of your doorbell, and tap Set.
On the settings page, select Allow Alarm Notifications.
Enable Allow Device Alarms and Allow App Notifications. You can change how often you want notifications to come through with the Notification Interval (Choose 0 min if you want unlimited notifications). You can also choose the times of day that you want notifications to come through with the Notification Schedule.
You can enable the Notification Schedule, and set the time periods and days of the week you would like to receive notifications during.
4. Customizing Human and Package Detection
To customize the notifications you receive for your detection types, tap the three dots at the right of your doorbell, and tap Set.
On the settings page, select Alarm Detection.
Choose which of the following you would like to edit: Motion Detection (and Human Detection), or Package Detection.
Within Motion Detection, you can choose between Normal Mode (detecting anything in the area) or Ultra Mode (detecting only humans). You can change the Sensitivity on this page and set the Detection Area as well.
To set the Detection Area, drag the white circles to create a box of your choice. The camera will only look within the connected blue lines when detecting motion.
Within Package Detection, you can enable or disable Package Guard (playing a sound when someone approaches a package), Package Overstay Reminder (sends a notification when a package is still within the view at a chosen time), and Package Checker (sends a notification when a package is delivered or picked up).
You can change the Package Guard sound and time period it should play the sound, and the Package Overstay Reminder time to notify you.
