The motorized 2.8–12mm varifocal lens gives you adjustable optical zoom in addition to digital zoom. Use a supported phone app, SureVision recorder or camera interface to zoom out toward 2.8mm for broader coverage, or zoom in toward 12mm for a closer view of an entrance, parked car, register or more distant area. You can choose positions throughout the lens range to fit the location. Optical zoom changes the lens before the image is captured, putting more image detail on the area you select; digital zoom enlarges part of the picture on screen.
