Each SureVision SV-XBV5-N camera captures 5-megapixel video through a motorized 2.8–12mm varifocal lens. Adjust from a broad 102.4-degree horizontal view to a tighter 31.4-degree view using compatible recorder controls. This is useful for framing a doorway, an approach or a specific area without relying only on digital enlargement. The included DVR records 5MP coax video at up to 12 frames per second.

Smart infrared illumination reaches up to 50 meters, approximately 164 feet, under specified conditions. Infrared produces black-and-white viewing in darkness; color viewing needs sufficient available light. True 120 dB wide dynamic range helps balance bright and shaded areas, and the IP67-rated metal housing supports indoor or outdoor installation.

Motorized control and audio support

Compatible DVR controls let you adjust the motorized lens and focus to suit the scene. Audio support depends on the camera and recorder signal mode; our team can confirm the supported configuration. The cameras use BNC video connections and separate power rather than PoE network connections.
